Don't confuse the DJI Flip Drone for a toy. This pint-sized powerhouse might be small, but it packs a powerful punch when it comes to aerial content creation. Physically, the Flip is a folding quadcopter that transforms like no other. Each arm, motor, propeller, and propeller guard is one piece, with each of the four twisting and folding underneath the Flip for ultimate portability. When unfolded, the Flip can take off from your palm without requiring a remote, although an RC-N3 controller is included. Once aloft, the high-end camera system can capture 4K60 horizontal video, 2.7K vertical video, and 48MP stills, taking advantage of a wide range of intelligent flight modes for professional-quality results.
Versatile Visuals
Featuring a 1/1.3" CMOS sensor, the camera system of the DJI Flip can record videos at 4K60 resolution with HDR and high-resolution 48MP still images, but that's just the beginning. Integrated versatility within the system offers flexibility based on the kind of content you're trying to create. Whether you're capturing the majesty of nature or the skill of an athlete, you can admire the details of fast-paced action with 100 fps slow-motion video in Full HD 1080p.
If you're after clips ready-made for social media, switch to a 4:3 vertical mode capable of 2.7K quality content. For those that want to maximize quality, utilize 10-bit D-Log M color mode to retain highlights and shadow detail, giving you more post-flight editing flexibility.
Intelligent Flight
Take Control
You have options when controlling the Flip. Insert your smartphone into the included RC-N3 controller and run the DJI Fly app to pilot the Flip, select shooting modes, and transfer footage over Wi-Fi at 30 MB/s speeds. You can also control the drone with a "Hey Fly" and various spoken flight directions.
Full Stop
Safety comes not only from the integrated propeller guards on the DJI Flip. It's also outfitted with a 3D infrared sensing system. So, day or night, when piloting the Flip, this forward-facing sensor can detect obstacles and automatically brake to avoid collision.
