The lens is also compatible with eye-tracking modes for efficient tracking during video recording. Minimum focusing distance is a close 13.8", and the lens offers a f/2.8 maximum aperture and a seven-blade diaphragm that provides distinct bokeh for dramatic effect.

Normal-length prime is designed for APS-C-format Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras and provides a 40.5mm equivalent focal length.
