  • Viltrox AF 50mm f2 Overview

    Coupling a classic, versatile focal length with a lightweight design, the AF 50mm f/2 Air FE Lens from Viltrox for Sony E-mount full-frame digital cameras is a prime well-suited for everyday photography. Quick and quiet autofocus performance is provided via its STM focusing motor, making it reliable for both photo and video applications. Its f/2 maximum aperture allows working in dimly lit environments and helps to create flattering bokeh. Optical aberration and image distortion are reduced by the incorporated extra-low dispersion (ED), high-refractive (HR), and aspherical (ASPH) lens elements. Exif data transmission is supported as well as multiple camera shooting modes.

    Optical Design

    Thirteen lenses in nine groups, including three extra-low dispersion (ED) lenses, four high-refractive (HR) lenses, and one aspherical (ASPH) lens, to reduce flare and ghosting for improved contrast and quality.

    Nine-bladed diaphragm for more circular and pleasing bokeh.

    20" minimum focusing distance, allowing you to focus on subjects fairly close to you.

    Internal focusing mechanism to optimize use with gimbals and other support systems.
